Principal designer and owner Carley Petillion has been putting her design passion and eye for style to work for Spaciz since 2009. Carley parlays her keen listening skills into an ability to craft distinctive design features tailored to your lifestyle or workplace. She excels at pulling together unique combinations of colours, textures, and finishes, and transforming neglected spaces into extraordinary ones.

A master of the nitty gritty, Carley won't rest until every inch of your space is functional, and every detail is examined to ensure a smooth implementation and successful outcome. While always honing her skills and staying apace of design trends, Carley never forgets her no-nonsense roots. She is devoted to making sure you get the most out of your design dollars.

Carley graduated from The Interior Design program at Vancouver Island University in 2005. Victoria born and bred, Carley has a wicked sense of humour and a passion for fitness and country music.

As the founder of Spaciz Design Company Inc., Tracey Lamoureux brought more than 30 years of design expertise to every project. Known for her exceptional interior space planning skills, Tracey was also well versed in the entire construction process - an expert in millwork and cabinetry, and a pro at shepherding projects from conception to realization.

Her warm collaborative approach, unpredictable design style, and highly-praised problem solving skills have been passed down to her highly capable team of designers, keeping Spaciz in demand among residential and commercial clients alike.

Tracey graduated from the accredited Interior Design program from Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta.  While still offering wisdom and "wise little nuggets" of advice to the team, she is currently taking some hard-earned time away, exploring exotic destinations and savouring life on the west coast.

Our resident stylist, sourcing expert and organizational genius, Michele finds the ideal furniture and accessories to complete your home and realize your design vision. A master of textual layering, Michele excels at bringing together diverse pieces to create a cohesive home. 

Like to shop local? Michele’s encyclopedic knowledge of every supplier in town means she can quickly come up options to meet your needs. A meticulous researcher, she has trusted sources for custom and online orders for your hard-to-find items. 

It doesn’t end there – with military-like precision, she’ll coordinate timing and logistics for all deliveries, and set up everything for you in person. A born listener and collaborator, Michele is adored by our clients. 

When she’s not exceeding people’s expectations, she’s treasuring time with family and friends and hiking the island.

This talented member of our Team is a highly detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual. Victoria deftly completes drafted floor plans, elevations, renderings and millwork designs using the latest software. Artistic and inventive, she also excels at creating inspired material and finish combinations.

Excellent at planning and logistics, she can instantly visualize any plan in 3D. Victoria's exuberance puts her one-step ahead of the game, always anticipating what’s needed next. She has a knack for making every space both functional and unique. Victoria's favorite part of the job is revealing plans to clients and seeing their excitement.

Victoria previously worked for an architectural firm and is a graduate of the Interior Design Degree Program at Vancouver Island University. Outside of work, you’ll find her mountain biking and hiking island trails.

Born and raised on beautiful Vancouver Island, Ella is the wizard behind-the-scenes who keeps everything running smoothly at Spaciz. With a love for design and a knack for organization, she handles everything from admin tasks to design support, making sure the creative process flows effortlessly for both the team and clients.

When she’s not working, Ella loves camping, getting in a good Pilates session, or spending quality time with her husband, two daughters, and their dog. Family and friends are at the heart of everything she does, and she always makes sure to carve out time for the things that matter most.

Ella graduated from the Pacific Design Academy in 2016, where she obtaind her Diploma in interior Design.  Ella’s attention to detail and warm, down-to-earth personality make her an essential part of the team, and she’s always excited to help bring your design dreams to life.  She will be the welcoming smile who makes you feel right at home as you walk through the Spaciz door.

With over ten years of experience in residential and commercial design, Victoria brings a thoughtful and practical approach to each project. She begins with a clear understanding of how a space will be used and works closely with clients to shape environments that support their everyday living.

Her experience includes full home renovations, new builds, millwork coordination and finish selection. She is detail-oriented and organized, guiding projects with steady communication and a clear design process.

Victoria focuses on function, flow and cohesive material selections to create spaces that are balanced and well-resolved. Whether developing layouts, producing detailed drawings or curating finishes, she approaches each step with care and intention.

Outside of work, Victoria enjoys going for walks, trying new coffee shops and spending time with her family and close friends. She is also embracing the new journey of motherhood and the inspiration it brings.
